Kim is Executive Director of the Canadian Hemp Trade Alliance (CHTA). Serving in the capacity of ED Kim has represented the CHTA nationally and internationally including on Canada’s national Special Crops Value Chain Roundtable and the Biomass Quality Network. During her seven years with CHTA the organization has grown from 120 members to over 500 members strong and is an internationally respected voice in all things hemp.
Kim is Principal of Prairie Global Management. A graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Manitoba Kim is also a Professional Agrologist. As a business consultant, Kim has worked nationally and internationally as a project manager assisting government and private industry in projects related to agriculture and business development, training and development. Kim is Past President of the Agricultural Institute of Canada (AIC) and has serviced on the Manitoba Institute of Agrologists’ Board of Directors and is currently in involved at a national level on the Canadian Agricultural Human Resource Council committee Supporting the Advancement of Women in Agriculture.
