Dawn Caldwell’s family ranches and farm in North Central Kansas where they raise Red Angus cattle, wheat, corn, soybeans, milo, and hay.  A graduate of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, she spent four years working for the University of Nebraska Cooperative Extension Service and has spent the past 15 years working at the Aurora Cooperative, first as a livestock specialist and currently as the corporate communications manager. Through a combination of her job and volunteer involvement, Ms. Caldwell is involved with the Nebraska Beef Council, National Cattlemens Beeef Association, U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance, and CommonGround, as well as other local and state boards and organizations.

CommonGround is a grassroots movement created to foster conversation among women – on farms and in cities – about where our food comes from. The United Soybean Board and National Corn Growers Association developed CommonGround.
