Commissioner Sid Miller was first elected to the Texas House in 2000, serving as Chair of the Agriculture Committee. In 2014 he was elected as Agriculture Commissioner. A former Ag teacher, the Commissioner breeds and trains American Quarter Horses and is a recognized rodeo cowboy who holds ten world championship titles. [node:read-more:link]

Clarence Nishihara

Brad Witt

Representative Witt started in the House in 2005. Prior to entering the legislature he served on the State Boards of Forestry, Watershed Enhancement and the Forest Resources Institute.  His deep respect for nature also led to co-chairing the bi-state Lower Columbia River Estuary Partnership. He has worked in some aspect of the lumber industry since his first job in a saw mill to pay his way through college.
